Darshan Thoogudeepa announces his next film Kaatera
Darshan Thoogudeepa, who is known for his action-packed films in the sandalwood has thrilled his fans by unveiling a powerful and striking look from his forthcoming film. Directed by the versatile actor-filmmaker Tharun Sudhir, the movie is aptly titled Kaatera and is eagerly anticipated for its release later this year.
Set in the backdrop of the 1970s Hampi, Kaatera is expected to be a compelling action drama that delves into a significant agrarian issue. The film features Darshan in the lead role, with Aradhana Ram, Jagapathi Babu, and Kumar Govind playing pivotal characters.
In the recently released look, Darshan captivates audiences with his resolute posture, kneeling firmly on the ground and clenching his fist with unwavering determination. His imposing presence and toned physique exemplify his dedication to the role. The fiery backdrop, featuring a majestic depiction of Goddess Durga, adds to the visual intensity.
Produced by Rockline Venkatesh and featuring V Harikrishna, celebrated for his work on Yajamana, as the composer and director, Kaatera marks Darshan’s third collaboration with Tharun Sudhir. Their past associations with Chowka (2017) and Roberrt (2021) have significantly contributed to Kannada cinema, with Roberrt becoming one of the highest-grossing films in the industry.
