Kanguva: Suriya’s epic fantasy film is now on OTT
The highly anticipated epic fantasy action film of 2024, Kanguva is finally arriving on the OTT platform. Yes, you read that correctly!
Starring none other than the Tamil star hero Suriya in dual roles, Kanguva is directed by Siva and co-produced by two prominent production houses Studio Green and UV Creations. Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani who played key roles in this film made their Tamil debut.
The film centers on Francis Theodore, a bounty hunter in 2024, whose mysterious connection with a child is linked to a fierce tribal warrior’s vow to a child from the year 1070.
Although the film was released worldwide on November 14 this year with huge expectations, Kanguva received mixed to negative reviews and emerged as a box-office disaster.
While the film didn’t garner much acclaim on the big screen, we hope Kanguva finds a warmer reception on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video, which it began streaming on December 8, 2024, in Tamil, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
